Are you an emerging creative looking for hands-on experience at Google? The Creative Fellowship is a 6-month program designed to place fresh talent on dedicated creative teams at Google, offering exposure and real-world project opportunities across our in-house creative departments. This experience fosters a dynamic network of creative professionals with a strong “maker-first” approach.


What to Expect

Real-World Projects

Each Creative Fellow will be placed on a Google creative team, working on actual projects under expert guidance. The experience varies depending on the team, but past Fellows have contributed to major projects across these four teams:

  • Brand Studio
  • Creative Lab
  • Google Cloud Brand & Creative
  • YouTube Creative Studio

Open Roles for 2025

The 2025 Creative Fellowship will take place in the United States, and participants must have work authorization in the U.S. Below are the available roles:

Brand Studio

  • Producer
  • Visual Designer
  • Social Creative/Copywriter
  • Creative Technologist

Creative Lab

  • Creative Technologist
  • Visual Designer

Cloud Brand & Creative

  • Designer

YouTube Creative Studio

  • Social Creative

Eligibility Requirements

Before submitting your interest, please review the following requirements to ensure you qualify:

  • You must have work authorization in the U.S. as of June 2025 (no visa sponsorship provided).
  • You must be of legal working age in the U.S. as of June 2025.
  • You must be fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • You must reside in the city where you’re applying.
  • You must be able to commit to a full-time position from mid-June 2025 – mid-December 2025.
  • You will be employed as a freelancer through Google’s staffing partners.
