The Hogans Fellowship is a year-long, D.C.-based program designed to equip emerging public affairs leaders from diverse backgrounds with the skills, training, and mentorship needed to grow and sustain a successful career in public affairs.

Inspired by Mack Hogans, a legacy corporate executive and the Public Affairs Council’s first Black board chair, this fellowship fosters leadership development and professional growth through structured training, networking, and mentorship opportunities.

Program Information

Program Requirements:

To successfully complete the Hogans Fellowship, participants must:

  • Attend four in-person professional development events, including the mandatory orientation on May 8, 2025, from 1:00–4:00 PM ET in Washington, D.C.
  • Engage with a Mentor Leader on a quarterly basis (at minimum).
  • Complete 10 hours of Public Affairs Council professional development programming, including workshops and webinars.
