Eligibility Criteria

Who Can Apply:

  • Education:

    • A Master’s degree in a relevant field with at least seven years of progressively responsible experience OR
    • A PhD with five years of relevant professional experience.
  • Professional Experience:

    • Experience managing and conducting research related to global health and policy.
    • A proven record of research publications in relevant fields.
    • Experience in teaching, mentorship, and supervising research projects.
  • Skills and Competencies:

    • Strong writing and communication skills in English.
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with international teams.
    • Ability to integrate interdisciplinary approaches into global health research.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of an additional UN official language is an asset.
  • Experience with international development programs or policy initiatives is beneficial.

Program Details

  • Position Title: Policy Research Fellow (P-3 Level)
  • Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
  • Contract Type: Personnel Service Agreement (PSA)
  • Annual Salary: USD 59,151 – USD 62,024 (based on experience)
  • Contract Duration: Initial 1-year contract, renewable
