This is Gender 2025 invites the creative community to delve into the complex, lived realities at the intersection of gender and disability.

Global Health 50/50 encourage submissions that explore disability as the product of social, institutional, architectural and representational systems that invoke different forms of participation of people with physical and cognitive differences in society.

Winning images will receive a £500 cash prize. Winning works will also be featured in GH5050’s flagship global health report, virtual exhibitions and receive global media coverage.

This is a global call for bold, authentic imagery that explores the intersection of gender and disability.

The competition invites artists to challenge stereotypes, celebrate resilience, and capture the diverse lived experiences of people with disabilities across genders, cultures, and spaces. All visual media are welcome.

• Spaces: How design and accessibility challenge power dynamics
• Social Relations: Care, communities, and joy in resistance
• Embodiment: Bodyminds, senses, and selfhood
• World-building: Imagining inclusive, equitable futures.

This is an exciting opportunity for emerging and established creatives to have their work recognised on a global stage and contribute to a powerful movement for justice — shining a light on underrepresented voices and re-imagining how gender and disability are understood worldwide.
