Trieste Contemporanea is calling for applications for the 2025 Young European Artist Trieste Contemporanea (YEATC) Award.

The Trieste Contemporanea Committee assigns the Young European Artist Trieste Contemporanea Award to a young Central Eastern European artist with the aim of promoting his or her work on the international art scene.

The award gives the winner the opportunity to think and display an exhibition project at Studio Tommaseo in Trieste.

Exhibition production budget includes the publication of an exhibition catalogue edited by an art curator. YEATCA 2025 artists’ travel and accommodation expenses for attending Trieste exhibition installation and opening will also be paid by the organization.

The award is open to young artists under the age of 30 and born in one of the following countries: Albania, Austria, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Ukraine.
